Pretty much the title. I have been playing starcraft for quite a while but a bad habit I have formed is using F2 pretty religiously. Any tips for getting rid of the habit or how to easily add new units to a control group?

Teaching a non-gamer how to SC2. Watched their APM climb from 6 to 32, but they're discouraged they can't beat AI. This video from WhiteRa is great motivation to improve.

I'm sick of these remakes and sequels. StarCraft the Movie/Series, GO GO GO!

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 11:38 AM PDT

If they drop this I would binge the hell out of it. Move over Marvel MCU, the world of StarCraft is too fascinating to not capitalize on this. Would prefer if they got unknowns for the cast and didn't cast Brad Pitt as Raynor or something like that.

Starcraft Remastered crashing at start up

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 06:30 PM PDT

Starcraft remastered would start up, do the opening blizzard logo and intro but would freeze up and show a black screen and crash. I got a 3700x and 5700xt rig if that is of any help,

    Is zerg really broken?

    Posted: 22 Sep 2020 07:36 AM PDT

I have been watching a lot of games recently from the DH SC2 Masters cup, and whenever zerg wins people are commenting that the race is broken (primarily protoss supporters). I'm trying to identify whether this is just people being salty or if there is merit to what they are saying.

A big criticism I see is that the zerg eco is way better than the other races, obviously this is designed around the race having horrible trading power and also sacrificial units like drones and banelings. Therefore is it a fair criticism to say that this large eco power is "broken" or is it new players misunderstanding the race's design?

Another massive complaint I see time and time again is that vipers are too strong with their ability to abduct units. I've seen a lot of counterplay to vipers in high templar and ghosts and have played against it as well being a zerg player. To me watching and playing it has always seemed pretty fair, but I have no idea how difficult it is on the other side of things. What are the issues when facing down this massive late game threat? What changes could you make to "balance" the unit without turning it into hot garbage like the infestor is now?

Lastly, an issue that actually makes me a little angry is that I have seen a lot of people saying that Reynor and Serral aren't actually that good an that they are being "carried" by the race. There has been suggestion that they wouldn't even make it into top 10 if zerg wasn't "broken". Personally I think this one is pretty obvious salt to me, considering Serral in particular has been recognised as the greatest of all time by pretty much the whole community and top level opponents. Never the less, if people could give their opinions on the skill level of Serral or Reynor it would be much appreciated.

A final note, I was Diamond 4 Zerg a few months ago but I haven't played much since the nerfs came in as I just don't have fun with mutas, and I have gotten pretty tired of lurkers as a late game strategy. I feel out of the loop on the balance at the moment so all comments are appreciated.
