    So I'm coming from Dawn of War and I'm a 40k whore, with the Tyranids being my favorite faction, so after expirmenting around, I've found that I love (what a shock) Zerg!

    They did rip off Nids, but they did it well, so I'll give them a pass!

    Anyways, what are some good tips to help me at least try and not have my ass handed to me?

    Also side question, is there a good way to heal Zerg or do they just heal themselves?

    Hello, my name is Slayer, I am currently 15 years and and I am a diamond 1 terran and protoss player trying to reach Masters. Recently after playing my wrists have been bothering me more and more. I do the Day9 stretches, i have a keyboard and mouse wrist wrest, i take breaks. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can prevent future pain/injury? Thanks.

    MCMC#01 Winners Map Showcase

    This came a bit late seeing as the MCMC#01 ended 2 weeks ago, but considering we're soon diving into our Christmas MCMC (We'd like to space them out better for next year but a christmas theme is too hard to pass up.), showcasing a lil of what we've got could be a way to gather interest for the tournament. Both for mappers and players.

    Below you will see our top 3 for MCMC#01 which used the MNUM Dependency mod as it's theme. Basically it was a collection of neutral additions like wormholes, one-way walls or hostile static defense.

    We did have a shared #1 spot though so that's why both Hell Gates and Serena is listed as #1.

    #1 \"Hell Gates\" by Superouman

    This map featured our "Xel'Naga Pillar Walls" which are walls that only lower if there's a unit or structure on one specific side. As can be observed the lower half of the map is only accesible via the pillar walls and every pillar wall faces downwards. (Meaning they're only activatable from the top side) Iirc Super wanted to have "hell" be accesible but somehwat of a trap. Being hard to get out of.

    In some of our test-games on this map players were accidentally activating the natural walls leading to the vertical third with structures. Meaning they couldn't close it without destroying the structure so be mindful of that.

    #1 \"[KTV] Serena\" by Kantuva

    This map also featured our pillar walls (Actually all 3 maps in the top three did, so you could consider them a favorite) but in a more reserved manner than what Super did (Only 2). The map features a very short rush path hindered by these one-way walls. Something interesting to note is also the non-standard natural. The map was made by Kantuva.

    During playtesting there was initially an issue of the walls permitting passage at the very edges but it should be fixed now.

    #2 (#3?) \"Xel'Naga Garden\" by Pklixian

    This map ALSO uses the pillar walls. PK acknowledged that the pathable bridges on the map are somewhat buggy. The map has a very unorthodox base layout, seeing as the triangle third shares the same high ground as the natural with the only thing denying entrance from the third being the pillar walls. The map also features some rich mineral patches placed snug into the cliffing by the corners. To this day we're still unsure of why.

    All these maps should be uploaded to NA and EU under the names listed.

    For those unaware the MCMC is a non-profit collection of individuals that seek to give back to the mapping community. The prize pool is funded through our Patreon and all money we receive is given back to the mapping community.

    For our upcoming MCMC#02 we will have a christmas theme and mappers will be allowed to blend standard melee mapping with an assortment of premade assets and functions that will be accesible as a dependency. We will also be allowing participants to make their own additions be it through data or triggers.

    Improvements I can make to my play

    I know there are things I can improve in my gameplay, so if anyone here is willing to watch some of my gameplay that'd be really appreciated.

Most of what I did here was cheese, I was trying out a few things I had in mind just to see how well it would go over, but this is the only recorded gameplay I've got.
