    Hello /r/starcraft!

    Reminder: This is a weekly thread aimed at people who have questions about ANYTHING related to starcraft. Arcade, Co-OP, multiplayer, campaign, Brood War, lore, etc.

    Anyone of any level of skill can ask or answer a question Keep the comment section civil, and when you answer try not to answer with just a yes/no, add some thought into it, help each other out.

    If you ask a question about a specific game, it is helpful to include the replay of said game(upload to drop.sc and link it to your post.)

    Starcraft 2 Singapore tournament Semis and Finals is in 24ish hours! Saturday 2pm (SGT) 18/1/2020

    Being a Starcraft 2 fan from 2011, I have seen the scene rise, fall, and now steadily rise again. In my country, while there has been an increase of players there really isn't anything for the local players. Hence, I am organizing and putting for some resources in order to do what I can to grow the scene.

    Last Saturday was the group stage, with a range of players both playing and casting, this follow Saturday will be the semis and finals. As well as some great games, we are organizing a Live, in person, viewing party! Clarification, this is not an offline LAN event , but we will be casting from a location and there will be space for fans to hang out, chat and connect.

    For the community, Singapore, South East Asia and beyond, I would appreciate if you do tune in to twitch to support.     I love watching SCII and obviously I am a big fan of GSL, I like to turn on vods on youtube of old tournaments when I am board or falling asleep, but last night I noticed that a huge number of playlists on both https://www.youtube.com/user/exp and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK5eBtuoj_HkdXKHNmBLAXg (AfreecaTV eSports) have been take down or otherwise hidden. I was super disappointed by this! Is there a solid channel on youtube or elsewhere with old GSL vods in a playlist like format? I used to pay for the passes back in the day when it was GOMtv running GSL but when that folded I lost access to the vods, I feel like it would be a real shame if these vods were all just lost forever. I understand you can watch some of the more recent stuff on twitch, but I find their vod interface to be a nightmare, and I have looked on sc2links as well but all the old tournaments just link back to dead gomtv links. Please help reddit!

    Optional rematch button for ladder?

    What do you guys think about a rematch button that causes it once both players accept? You should probably be able to opt out of requests in game options. Got the idea watching some super smash ladder.

    Anybody can think of any problems in the way for implementing this? There's plenty of merit to this imo.

    Let's say we're talking about top 8 from KR and non-KR scene.

    My vote would be Cure (killing it lately in smaller tournaments) for KR, and (probably controversial, but I'll take the risk) Vanya for non-KR. Interested to read your opinions.

    The missions are boring, the story and the lines are cheesy. It should feel like this great adventure comes to an end and it feels more like a chore to finaly end the whole campaign. Anyone else felt like this? No good cutscenes, no good lines or speeches, it just ends. And that is it.
