    I just started sc2 and have been watching vibe to learn basic terran. But, oh my, do I suck. Basically every game feels the same: I scout, have some idea of what is coming and i usually just sit at my base macroing, but usually the enemy overwhelms me. If I try to attack first, i either get owned or my macro is effed up. God forbid me to try some drops in mineral lines! I have been playing against bots on harder.

    Sc2 is the first game that made me feel like a terrible gamer. Does anyone feel the same?

    With that clutch win vs Clem, he now has 515 points to Bunny's 513, with more points still possible in this Liquid tourney while Bunny is already out. He is also 8 points behind ragnarok, though he is still in the Liquid tourney.

    StarCastTV English channel is newly created.

    StarCastTV English channel disappears and a new channel is created

    I recently decided to split the English and Spanish channels due to an algorithmic problem, and in the process I had to delete a number of Spanish cast videos.

    However, YouTube found out that deleting uploaded videos also had a fatal effect on the algorithm, and through conversations with the officials, I found out that my channel was in poor condition.

    Therefore, I decided to create a new channel.

    In the future, all new videos will be uploaded to the changed channel, and videos uploaded to the old channel will be re-uploaded to the new channel.

    1. Joining of new English casters.

    Nyoken and Seriosity are top-level English casters, and Schamtoo, TLFlash, DocHoliday, and Allyssa are good enough casters. Also, Moletrap is a legendary oldcaster.

    I keep trying to find good English casters.

    keen, father, justtooJuicY will be the channel's casters. They are very busy, but they said they would try.

    In addition, Scan joined StarCastTV as a caster.

    His game analysis is top-notch and he speaks English well enough, so I look forward to working with him.

    Today I was watching this youtube video of a game of the GSL season, the title was, the best sc2 nuke ever, I was hyped to see the Nuke so I spent all the almost half hour watching the replay.

    What I enjoyed the most tho, is that Maru's reaction, was to laugh of his mistake and move on to the next game.

    Most of time in E-sports, we see that a lot of players get frustrated when they throw or make mistakes, but being able to laugh of yourself and moving on to the next match without being toxic with yourself, is something that I really admire!

    Serious question for Terran players, what's with the base floating?

    It's definitely not all of you of course I'd say 20% give or take, but what's going through your head when you float your buildings and drag a match out pointlessly?

    I get wanting to give it your best shot, but I had a match last night where the opponent tried to reestablish against a healthy three based economy after I burnt down his natural and main.

    For those who pull this off successfully do you have any tips for other Terrans on when it's worth trying?

    The hardest wars are those of attrition. The temple is under siege, minerals can be difficult to harvest, and Amon's army is both resilient and fanatical. Hold out as long as you can, and hope it is enough.

    Mineral clusters at player bases are periodically encased in a shield which must be destroyed for gathering to continue.

    Enemy units gain a temporary shield upon the first time they take damage.
    Avenger

    Notes:

    • Avenger can buff units up to ten times, with each increasing HP and shields by 10%, life regen by 1 per second, armor by 0.3, and attack and movement speed by 10%.
    • Units that get the Avenger buff also grow in size to give players a visual indicator.
    • Mineral shields are 50 health structures. A minimap ping indicates their arrival. If not destroyed they last a very long time then they disappear on their own.
    • Player units and static defense DO NOT autotarget Mineral Shields.
    • Barrier is a 100HP shield that lasts for 5 seconds.
    • Barrier triggers when an enemy unit is damaged but not killed. 1-hit KO bypasses Barrier.
    • The Mineral Shields also get the Barrier.
    • Mind-controlling/Reclaiming Avenger-buffed enemy units will cause them to lose the Avenger buff.

    I'm sharing this to help out everyone that wants to compete in he DHM Last Chance qualifiers. No matter if you are at the top of your regional rank and want to safeguard that #1 seed, if you are fighting for a Ro24 slot, or if you are putting everything you can into making into the Ro36.

    • Regional Eligibility: These are server qualifiers, meaning that anyone from any region that can play in an ESL Pro Tour competition can sign up. If you want to play on all 3 Open qualifiers, you can!
