    I recently bought the remastered version due to be half off and finally decided to actually play the campaigns! I loved playing the SC2 campaigns for the most part, even if they were super cliche and had their issues.

    And I've gotta say that the writing/plot is soooooo much better in the originals, the characters actually feel like their motives make sense, they all hate each other and would only work together briefly for a mutual goal. And then back to fighting! Characters like DuGalle, Duke were brilliant that don't appear in the sequel

    I already knew the plot for the most part having read it up after playing the SC2 single player, but actually getting to participate in the destruction of aiur, tarsonis etc feels amazing.

    I had some struggles at the start with the game just due to my familiarity with the newer QOL changes in RTS games nowadays, but once I got past that it was great. Seemed like plenty of mission variety and the difficulty seemed good to me.

    Can't believe I waited this long to play it to be honest.

    I suck and my computer sucks. I was so bored due to lock-ins I started redownloading games I already own onto my new computer.

    I found Sc2 coop from YouTube and I found it much more fun than the actual SC2.

    During the last phase of the scenario I get 1fps on lowest graphics settings. Is there an obvious commander I should be playing because of this?

    I am guessing Zeratul but maybe there is an alternative where I just queue up mass towers or use some auto attack units that lets the game more or less play itself so I win.

    Announcing the first Fenix & Fenrack Community Cup! A Gold-Diamond tourney that aims to bring the tournament experience to you guys, the community.

    If you're looking to dip your toes into a competitive environment or just want to take a shot at some prize money consider yourself formally invited to check out the event page! :)

    The tournament is open for registration NOW and you can read everything about it on our challonge page. It is hosted by two relatively small streamers, those being myself (ReiGnFenix) and Fenrack. We will be casting as many of the games as we physically can and duo-casting the entirety of the semi-finals and finals!

    Here are the main details about the event:

    • It will take place on Saturday, December 19th from 2PM CET to 8PM CET (estimated end)
    • 50€ of prize money will be distributed among the Top 4
    • Players from all regions are welcome to participate if they are in Gold, Platinum or Diamond league
    • The games will be broadcast on our respective streams.
    • All questions and further inquiries can be submitted on the discord

    We hope to add an extra bit of value and incentive for the community to engage in this beautiful game together and experience the fun of a professional tournament on a smaller scale.

    Fun stuff to play without playing online?

    I usually play melee matches against bots. I'm not very competetive, so I don't really like to play online with other people. Melee matches are starting to get a little stale, is there anything else that would be fun and single player? I've already played the campaign and all that.
