Posted: 21 Jun 2020 03:30 PM PDT If you know a friend who plays SC2 at similar level, I highly recommend you try it. One can be in charge of micro and the other could be in charge of macro. Playing only either macro or micro can make it less intense and more fun if you enjoy one more than the other. If you want to off-race to your friend's, playing archon could be a good way to train yourself and vise versa. For example, your friend can watch what you are doing and teach you what to do, what he/she's thinking and whatnot while keeping your build orders in check. I know some people find sc2 sometimes too intense despite generally enjoying it and I think Archon mode is underappreciated for those. [link] [comments]

Method Mayhem - StarCraft 2 - Cup #2 Posted: 21 Jun 2020 01:15 PM PDT Hey guys what's up! Been a Looooooooooong time since I made a thread here but hey let's roll with it. Method are getting involved in Sc2 and so far we've managed to run 1 monthly edition of the Method Mayhem Sc2, which ended up with a nail biting finals between Clem and Soul, in which Clem managed to edge out and took home the 300 dollar first place prize and solidified himself the Crown for our first tournament in Sc2. If you missed it and wanna check out on how it went: https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Method_Mayhem_Cup/1 Given that it went so well and you guys enjoyed it, we've improved things on our end and will continue to do so for the players and viewers and are running more events each month on the Method channel https://www.twitch.tv/method within Sc2 and various other titles! Method are really keen on giving it their all, and I know how important putting on a good show is, the first edition had me and Rotterdam as casters along with Mapu observing backed up by the Method production team just to make sure we have solid foundations to work with. Future editions will hopefully be as jam packed with as awesome games as we had in the first, but I just want you guys to know that each month there'll be 500 Dollars up for grabs for you guys over the course of 2 days, along with plenty of hours worth of entertainment and giveaways for the viewers. We also, much with your help, managed to raise a bucket load of cash for Charity which definitely made you, the Sc2 scene look incredibly generous, so thank you guys. Prize distribution is: 1st : $300 2nd : $150 3rd : $50 Sign ups are over at : https://matcherino.com/tournaments/30456/overview [link] [comments]

Win trading and losing on purpose, is it bannable? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 02:01 AM PDT I was playing duos with my friend today, we HARD lost against a barcode username master Zerg player that was grandmaster and master from 2015 to current day (Career summary)... His duo that was for a lack of a better word, really bad, basically opened up with a photon cannon cheese that we hold off effectively, however we had are natural and 3rd delayed by a lot of time meaning the zerg could macro behind and build mass zerg/bane/muta combo in which he basically destroyed us at the 12 minute mark. But this goes beyond the game which im not even mad losing in that game since its literally a Grandmaster and we are no where near that skill level (Being hardstuck diamond 2 myself and my duo that doesnt play the game regularly ) He abuses and hides his account track record, hides his current 1v1 and archon rank but keeps his plat duo up to give the impression that he isnt a GM. Looking up in his match history he smashes in 2v2 games but on Archon he PURPOSELY loses and afks then surrenders... We looked at the replay and its clear as day that this guy is a Master. Whats worse is that this seems to be a targeted scheme, upon looking at these games he plays with the same 4 players and I suppose they purposely Queue in Archon rank at the exact same time to pull this off, losing on purpose to lower matchmaking... Me and my friend both reported him but my friend told me that the chance of him actually getting banned is slim to none because apparently the support for these kinds of things, devs simply turn a blind eye... I was wondering if thats the truth? And if this is against TOS what that player is doing, which is dis-honorable as Fk as well, what other measures can I go to get this guy banned for real? Try to do the research but all I've found so far is only document explain how Zerg Hydralisk shoot. There is no animation or concept art which show how Zerg Hydralisk open its flaps on the spines. P/S: Sorry for my bad english. [link] [comments]

Is there something wrong with the stay at homestory cup #2 replay packs? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 11:55 PM PDT I've heard of a replay bug with the new patch, but in my case the bug is very specific: I can play my own replays, my friend's replays and replays from older competitions. But i can't play the replays from Stay at Homestory Cup #2. Does anyone else get the same behavior? [link] [comments] |
