    For a brief moment, the game became about equipping a command center with the right array of buildings to wreak havoc and confusion on the other side of the map.

    Your team often didn't win. That wasn't the point. The point was holy shit this command center is flying right into my face and burning shit down.

    From what I can tell, the bug happened if you happened to hit take off and load with the right dash of lag. Some portion of the time, you'd get lucky and suck those buildings right in.

    The randomness made them true spirits of the sky. They chose their own formation. And then you'd send them off, the most powerful unit in the game.

    And they still lost to superior numbers.

    I never got 5 upgraded bunkers full of marines in a single cc. I did once but it was a cursed ship.

    The fun thing about this bug is if you pushed load one too many times, a curse would fall upon the square the cc occupied. It loaded itself and disappeared. It would attack from an unassailable position, but it would never move, couldn't be selectable.

    I nuked it one game, four or five times. Did nothing. It's a cursed dot on the map, just a position from which fire emanated from on high.

    But I will never, to my dying breath, forget the first time I packed up a planetary and a bunker full of marines and sent it off against my 4s opponents, my allies thought I had thrown the game. The sheer absurdity of dropping a planetary into someone's main base.

    It will never be matched.

    Starcraft may have just peaked.
