Comments from ESL on the recent EPT topics Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:38 PM PDT Okay this took a while to write, sorry for the wall of text but needed. Firstly, I really apologize for being distant in recent times. Our workload at ESL has been incredibly high and there's been a thousand moving pieces spread across our team as we are try to adapt to a different world. Evidently we haven't been paying enough attention to the details which has led to some strange decisions in recent months. In this post for you, I will cover all important topics that you as a community deserve to have insight into. I will start with our approach around the ESL Pro Tour point allocation, moving into the TakeTV situation, followed by the Super Tournament decision and then our outlook moving forward. 2020 GSL Season 1 Pick-em - Ro 24 - Your Predictions Posted: 09 Apr 2020 09:14 PM PDT First of all massively thank you to everyone that has signed up so far. I wasn't sure how interested everyone was going to be about this but there was a total of over 150 sign ups within the first 24 hours of going live which is a million times better than I was expecting. Anyway none of you are interested in that you are all here to find out what you have been picking for the 1st round of the Pick-ems! I have put all the results onto a google slideshow for now as I cant post more than 20 images into a single post and I didn't have time to edit it all into a smaller number of images as I am doing this whilst being "Extremely Busy" at work. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1SJzfAJW-91riffSzxGHVOhk-wkCenz2UmMoYXbGzxMY/edit?usp=sharing For the Ro16 I will look at presenting the information a bit better but for now this will have to do. You still have a chance to enter the competition if you haven't yet entries are open up until the start of the first game of the Ro24 in just under 24 hours time where you have a chance to win some awesome prizzes and bragging rights just for picking who is going to where in the GSL! You can enter the competition and read the rules in my original post here. https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/fvz2ly/introducing_the_inaugural_gsl_pickem_competition/ For those of you that have already entered thank you again. The winner of the Round of 24 and the entry period for the Round of 16 will be announced shortly after the groups for the round of 16 are confirmed on the 29th April. As always r/Starcraft Good Luck, Have Fun and Happy Picking! [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Apr 2020 02:27 PM PDT I am looking and hoping that the person I played yesterday, is on this subreddit. My tag is Brojaybombs. You played Terran, we had a long hard fought battle and I lost. I was hoping we could get a rematch. It was the best game I've had in a very long time. [link] [comments]
Small Online Community, All-Inspiration is Recruiting New Members of All Skill Levels Posted: 09 Apr 2020 01:58 PM PDT First off thank you for taking the time to read this post. I will do the best I can to keep it short and simple. Feel free to ask any questions here or in the Discord. I'll do my best to get back to everyone. -TechFour What is All-Inspiration All-Inspiration is a small StarCraft 2 team that mostly is NA based but does have players from EU and AUS. We were originally founded in 2013 and have competed in various team and individual leagues/tournaments since then. We focus first on being a respectful and mature community of StarCraft 2 players and secondly as a group that provides competitive opportunities to players and helps them achieve their goals within the game. What Events Does All-Inspiration Compete In In the past, All-Inspiration has competed in every league we possibly could at the amateur level. Currently our player base is not as big as it used to be and therefore we are looking to add members to refill our rosters for various leagues so we can perform to our expectations on the upcoming seasons. Examples of leagues we compete in is Chobo Team League (Platinum through Masters 2 Proleague style). Alpha Team League (Diamond and Higher Live Proleague style), and All-In TheNydus (Diamond through Masters 1 All Kill style). Many players within our community coach each other or give feedback on replays so even if you are lower than that, we can help you improve. If you have no interest in playing in events, that is okay as well. We need practice partners as well. Requirements? The only requirement is to play at least 30 1v1 ranked games per season. As a StarCraft 2 team, we do want to keep our members to people who play StarCraft 2 at least on a semi-regular basis. How to Join? Joining is a simple process. First join our Discord from the link below. You will see a channel that lets you choose to join as a member or guest. Type !member to join as a member. Someone will then reach out to you and start you on a 1 week Trial Period. After 1 week, you will become a full member and will be given the clan tag in game. Note: The Trial Period may seem tedious and unnecessary, but it is our way of ensuring immature or disrespectful people do not become part of our team and ruin the community for everyone else. Not Sure? Not sure if you would like to join? That is completely okay. Join the Discord as a guest to get a feel for our community. If you feel like it is a good fit at a later point you can always join us then. Note: Guests only get access to part of the server. Discord Invite [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Apr 2020 12:03 AM PDT In the last year i really do enjoy to play 5-10 games of sc2 ranked team games as a relax from work . Its sad they don't have ranked for team games also in starcraft 1 . I tried to join custom games , but moust of the times you encounter people who play way way better . In starcraft 2 even as a new player you can enjoy 2v2 / 3v3 / 4v4 games , and they are fun to play [link] [comments]
