The real problem of the EPT points removal on GSL ST

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 06:31 PM PDT

Why did they have to remove it AFTER the tournament ended?

Sure, they couldn't have removed it during the tournament because the damage would be more severe, but if they had the slightest of thoughts about removing it, they should've considered and executed it before ST happened, no? Why did they have to drag the decision all the way after the end of ST?

The Korean pros already got enough crap through ESL not considering amending the region lock rules, and now they have to face more damage thru things like this.

Have nothing to do in Quarantine? I want to bring Funday Monday back! Participate in a weekly community challenge and win prizes for having fun in Starcraft!

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 11:27 AM PDT

Many of you at some point have seen Day9's Funday Monday series. It is what brought me to the game and when SC2 finally went Free-to-Play, I went from an avid viewer to a player. I wished that something like Funday Monday, a community-driven event having fun in Starcraft, was around when I played. Now that many of us are stuck in our homes for the foreseeable future, I would love to do something for the community. I have also always wanted to cast Starcraft and I figure now is the time to do something fun!

This week, the challenge is to come up with the most creative cheese that you can. Anyone can proxy oracle or bunker rush. Do you know what I haven't seen? Flying a factory into the opponent's base and building Widow Mines to rush their mineral line. Or proxying a Nexus to rush a Mothership. I don't want to give too many ideas but keep it creative!

What about the prizes? Well, I am a broke college student so I have to get a little creative here. Currently, I am sitting on two Steam keys for games that I already own. They are both valued in the $25 - $30 range and would be the first two prize options. In addition, I can offer a small cash prize, let's say $10 over Venmo, for a third prize. The winner would get their first choice, 2nd place would pick from the remaining two options, and 3rd place would get what remains. The prizes are unlocked if at least 10 people submit games to the competition because I don't want to give out prizes for something if the community isn't interested. If the subreddit moderators would like me to send them the prizes in advance so people don't have to worry about being scammed, I would be more than happy to do so!

Please email your submissions that have been uploaded to Drop.sc to [funcrafttwo@gmail.com](mailto:funcrafttwo@gmail.com)! You can submit as many games as you would like but each person can only win one prize a week. Submissions will close for this week's contest at midnight (EST) on Sunday, 04/05/2020. Good luck, and most importantly, have fun!

Once all of the submission are in, I will create a video for the community. If you have experience editing videos, please reach out! I would love help and could throw you some money for your time. I have a small amount of experience and will be able to do it myself, but if this is something the community really latches onto, I will look into hiring an editor so the content can be of a higher quality!

Who else would love to see "GSL Off the Record" revived with today's pros (links in thread)?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 10:58 AM PDT

For those new to the scene, GSL Off the Record was a talk show GomTV did with pros that included really fun interviews and challenges https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/GSL_Off_the_Record

Without live events anymore, it would be amazing if this could be revived by any of the upcoming tournaments like Wardi's Tourneys or the next Stay-at-HomeStoryCup. Players would have to provide for the own challenges of course. They are really entertaining and builds connection between pros and fans.

    Some of my favourites:

Unfortunately all the gomtv links on the liquipedia page are out of date. If someone who knows korean can find some, would love to rewatch! Thanks
