    Opponent MMR display bug?

    I'm at 3.8k. I've been getting matched with masters players which is whatever, it's late. But when I start the match it will display my opponents mmr as 4.3-4.5k. after the match (I always lose), it shows a similar mmr to mine (sub 4k). But then I click their profile and they're definitely in masters at 4.5k. what's going on here?

    edit: I guess I'm salty because the loss of mmr is the same against these 4.5k guys as it would be against people of my own level, which is not how the game is designed

    Training Map Request: please recreate MMC

    Sometimes, yelling at your child to produce is just not enough.

    I recall my old times where I had the best training map ever at hand. This map was underground. While people only swore by HardCounter, I trained on this one. I forgot until today its name, I found it again (see my earlier request). In fact it was not a map, it was a set of maps with the same script applied. Unfortunately, those MMC maps don't work anymore, Starcraft 2 says they are corrupt.

    Macro Mineral Check (MMC) overview, quoted:

    Macro Mineral Check is a script applied to officials 1v1 ladder maps in order to enhance your macro management.

    The script is based on a mineral cap not to exceed.

    The mineral cap is 500 for Terran & Protoss and 400 for Zerg. It's based on expand cost (Command center, Nexus & Hatchery). Each time you expand or train worker you extand the mineral cap

    • Worker : +8
    • Expand: +75

    You have a leaderboard to see how many times you reached the mineral cap and how much money your opponents receive.

    The two times you reached the cap you have your minerals divided by 3 and you give them to your opponents. If you reached the cap three times you have a random building wich is destroyed.

    MMC maps are awesome! They engrave in your mind what is needed to increase your spending quotient. Training on those made me progress from gold league to platinum league.

    I would like my child to spend (Starcraft 2) resources but not being deaf so he can hear the alerts. For this I need to stop screaming "speeeeennnnnddd yyouuuurrr ressssourrcceeeess" all the time, which is not efficient and may damage his ears. I need MMC maps again.

    On this subreddit there is statistically at least one person that is mastering the Starcraft 2 editor to make this map again. To this person, here is my request. Please, be a hero, make a clone of this set of maps. You'll be worshiped by a new generation of kids (and parents).
