    Every once in a while I'll have a frustrating loss where I couldn't figure out what I did wrong, and it would bother me for weeks. But since about a month ago, I started asking help from any high mmr players I could find in my groups, and it always surprised me when they would take the time to answer my questions, and sometimes even go over a replay with me to explain my mistakes. So thank you so much, kind strangers, for making my slow protoss brain a little bit faster. One day I'll be masters and be good enough to help others too.

    What if upgrades would cost supply as well?

    1. Which race would be most affected by this?
    2. Would you still get as many upgrades then or would you go quantity over quality?
    3. How do you think the meta would change? Would 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 be most efficient in terms of power <-> quantity?

    It doesn't make sense supply wise, just fun thought I had.

    TIL You only need 3 Phoenixes with +1 Attack to kill a Queen using 1 lift

    When 1 phoenix lifts a Queen, the other 2 phoenixes can kill it, when you stack them exactly on top of the queen during their last shot.

    This causes the projectiles to connect with the queen, before the lifting effect ends.

    When the travel distance for the projectiles is too big, the damage will not go through and the queen survives.
    Considering you can research +1 Attack in the cyber core and 3 phoenixes not being a huge investment, I thought this was very interesting for early game PvZ.

    Is this being currently being applied at all?

    Pros with interesting mechanics

    I was watching Trues stream yesterday and noticed he doesnt hotkey his larvae and actually hovers his mouse over to click the all unit button. He does this alot to collect his units together.

    I think Parting individually has each nexus to a hotkey instead of all them on one hotkey.

    Serral doesnt move his screen by pushing his mouse to edge of the screen.

    Any other pros that use unusual mechanics?

    So after doing my 10 daily match (and around 50 1v1 game) I was able to do my 5 placements match.
    The game imediately matched me against 5 4500 MMR players which was my unranked rank (In the end one placement match would have been enough)
    I guess unranked is based on the same system than multirace ladder where the game will refer to your ranked rank to place you for the first time on the ladder.
