    Moebius Corps' experimental implosive plating warps the space in its immediate vicinity and drags anything into the vacuum left, forcing armies to break formation and collide among themselves. Ensure that your forces are firmly set in order to minimize damage.

    • Fatal attraction stops workers from mining. The top expansion base is particularly susceptible to this.
    • 0 or 1 supply unit = 0.2 second pull
      • 1 supply = 0.4 second pull
      • 4 supply = 0.6 second pull
    • Static defense and sieged/burrowed units do not get pulled in.

    I' just recently started refollowing the SC pro scene and noticed that Zerg has had poor performance in GSL 2020 , and have felt like that hasn't been the case a few years ago. What happened to Zerg in terms of nerfs or changes (or even buffs? that may explain their poor performance as a race in GSL 2020?

    Wardi announced the draft order on tl.net and it goes as follows:

    PiG > DeMusliM > Rotti > ZG > Nathanias > Maynarde > Rifkin > feardragon > CatZ

    The draft format will be snake draft where the draft order goes first to last and then back in reverse order. This will be repeated until each caster has 4 players each.

    me again haha - sorry. So I just finished my new video: "SC2 Breadown: Marines". It's taken me a week with hardly any sleep to complete this. I'm new to shotcut and everything so I had to work very hard on this. I would love it if you guys checked it out and maybe gave me some feedback etc.

    btw; Apologies for the marine animation in the top left - it looked completely fine in shotcut but when I exported it; all kinds of buggy things happened including the weird speed changes.

    Placement matches and new team matchmaking is pushing players away from the game

    This isn't a new issue ... but as a M2-M3 ish player, every time I create some new combination of teammates we go through 5 placement games (typically against players starting in silver or gold and capping out around platinum 1) and then another 5 games or so to climb into M3.

    It's neither fun for the underdog team or the favored team ... the games are just a monotonous play-through where we play against players that literally can't win. This is frustrating to low-level players as depicted below. It would be so easy to get a rough estimate of a player's MMR and start them off at a level even CLOSE to their actual level. Even if it's an overestimate it'd better to play down than to start at 2500 MMR and climb to 4k.

    All of this is to say nothing of the smurfing that is similarly frustrating new (and old) players...

    First of all, thank you everyone who is doing the work and production on the Dreamhack content and games, and organizing players from around the world and casters from around the world. That's no easy job!
    I was wondering if there's a way to see who are casting which games? I'm on the ESLArchives Youtube channel and I see player names, but I also really would love to see which two casters are casting the games too. As a SC2 fan, I give my love to casters too!

    Ranked and unranked queue : looking for details

    Hello everyone,

    I am wondering a few things concerning the ranked and unranked queue.

    So first, from what I know, anybody queuing for ranked or unranked games are placed in the same global queue. But is it really "just" like that? I mean, for example, assume that I am Zerg 3k MMR in ranked queue and Zerg 2k MMR in unranked. If I play unranked games, is it really exactly the same as if I was playing ranked games from some other account where the Zerg is at 2k MMR in ranked?

    If this is the case, then ranked games "only" have the difference that you can see your actual MMR?

    I am looking for these details because I tend to have "ladder anxiety" (it's getting better, but still), and strangely, I feel like that playing unranked games when I am not in the mood to go for ladder games are perfect because I can just play somehow relaxed without being in a bad mood if I lose MMR (I know, this is dumb). But I still want to play unranked against opponents that are try harding and not end up 75% of the time against people trying a new race, or new build, or something of this flavor.

    I don't know how they built their global queue, but I was wondering if for instance while queuing in ranked, you are more likely to be against another player that queued in ranked, and same for unranked? Or is it really just a bit mix and the first player that has the same MMR as you in the pool (ranked or unranked) is picked?

    Classic Starcraft map editor question

    I know this is a long shot.

    Is there a way around friendly fire in Starcraft Classic map editor? I'm making a game where X number of kills wins in a 2v2. However killing allies is adding points to team score, and I don't want that. Trying to figure out a way around it. The two ways I tried didn't work:

    Allies (and specific player) > Never > Kill all [any unit] for Allies (and I've tried specific player)

    Allies (and specific player) > Remove all [any unit] for Allies (and I've tried specific player)

    Really no resources or direct answer since this is so old.
