And the second round has CLEM, TRAP, CURE and HEROMARINE to boot????

And not only that, but this will be casted by ROTTI, WARDI and ZOMBIE with DAYitisactuallyhimyouguys [9]!!!!????

Oh yeah, and the winner gets $8000 dollars. That's not Mugabe dollars either, no sirs/madams/other, but cold, hard ^sexy US of A dollars.

I mean, c'mooooon people! Tomorrow will kick every single posterior in the universe and then the universe itself and thus the cat that the universe is the posterior of!

So, please, how about some HYPE for GSL tomorrow and MORE HYPE STILL for TSL 5 later the same day, specifically

Current eSport summary?

Hi all!

With COVID, I found myself getting into this game with some friends and it has been a blast. Watching ViBE's b2gm videos have learned a lot which then led me to watch the current GSL tournament which has been fantastic.

I normally watch hockey and recognize how much playing the sport makes me appreciate watching the sport. The same has translated to Starcraft and playing really made me appreciate watching the game so much more.

With that said, unlike hockey and major sports, I find myself a bit lost to how to approach watching SC eSport. I am not used to not picking a team to support due to it being my local team and I don't have history watching sports such as tennis where I am following a player. So my question is, what is the best way to enjoy the eSport scene, getting to know the players, understanding the background of the matchups and the importance of winning a particular tournament and how that fits into things?

Really appreciate the casting from Artosis and Tasteless right now to help set the stage for each match but would love to get into it even more.

Widow Mines - Worst Designed Unit in SC2 History?

So I just finished making M1 with Protoss after being a low GM Terran in both HOTS and LOTV. Might be hilarious to say but after killing countless probes before as Terran, playing Protoss has highlighted just how bad of a design the widow mine is. I can confirm that it takes double the effort to defend against widow mines vs. using them and I have no idea what the design team was thinking putting a unit that can end games so effortlessly. Almost lazy designing in my opinion. Convince me otherwise.
