    Melee Units Attacking Through Depots (BUG?)

    Had a zealot swipe through a closed depot today in a 1v1 on Golden Wall. Wanted to see if it was a fluke or intended so we hopped in some customs and tried it on both spawns on golden wall, both depot sides, and other ladder maps as well. It's pretty inconsistent based on map layout and when the units actually do damage, but does work on ladder maps, and we were able to get the zealot (and lings!) to do damage to marines behind the closed depot.

    Any thoughts on how this could happen? Pretty weird to see it happen in a live game.

    I'm quite confused by the unit Hunter Killer. What does the name even mean?

    Is it a hunter of killers or a killer of hunters, or a hunter that kills the things it hunts, instead of just hunting them?

    i finally finally manged to convince my friends to play sc2 again.
    we played sc2 in 2013 and what we liked the most is doing big 4 - 8 players game with us only, and what we enjoyed the most is not playing to much of the vanilla game but always trying new mods and maps and then going back to the best ones.

    now that we are back and i am not 12 anymore i decided it would be better if instead of going through every single mod i will also ask for a few mods i always wanted but could never find.

    the mods im looking for are:
    1. a mod that disables all air units in the game(maybe apart of observers and other non combat units)
    one of the things we always kinda disliked is how when getting to the late game most units become obsolete and the game becomes who can make more of their best air units with barley any tactics...
    even the idea of defense buildings doesnt help much when you play on a map like bgh and you have to make a 5 layer photon cannon circle around your base just to stop an 8 void rage attack.

    1. a mod that adds a few units and structures without breaking the game - we have tried around 100 different mods that do that but most of the either add to many things to the point you cant remember what does what, or they add super unbalanced units that break the game.
      a few mods manged to get the sweet spot but i forgot their names and im sure there are new ones from the last 6-7 years.

    3.just some unique and fun mods - we dont really play for the super competitive 9000 apm aspect of the game, we just look to have fun and usually large scale games(and not the real scale mod).

    the reason i wrote so much just to ask mods was also to rent a bit

    Explain TvT to me please

    Hi guys,

    Ive been playing since some 2014 (started as zerg) and for last few years casually playing Random (M2-M3) and this season, I tried to play ladder daily and actually improve. I have stronger matchups and weaker matchups, but there is one, where I am absolutely clueless regarding EVERYTHING - TvT.

    I do not understand it at all. I am watching GSL, WCS etc and it is nice to observe good players play it, but when it comes to me, I have no idea what to do. Is there some guide, or some tips or something that I should watch/read/follow to understand it more?

    And I do not mean macro mechanics, but some actual tips from people above diamond - what to do to actually win and what makes it different from other matchups. What should I focus on and what should I do differently than vs Z and P and what is important but I dont actually see from streams.

    Is StarCraft 2 balanced now?

    My dad won't play with me because he keeps claiming it's too unbalanced. I used to play Zerg, and he would play Protoss, and I almost always won.

    I even chose the same race as him once and still spanked him which clearly indicates a difference in skill, but he still claims unbalance as his reason for not playing. Can you guys give me some talking points that prove otherwise, or is he right?

    BIG PROBLEM - cant play tournaments or create games.

    Something is happening . Starcraft 2 ( i use macMini)

    CANT CREATE GAMES. Stuck in Entering Lobby .

    Restarted game, reinstalled game, made new user, nothing works.

    I just cant create games, join lobbys, or play tournaments. In the moment I put 'ready' for tournament it says 'You been out ...'

    Lava periodically burst from the ground at random locations and deals damage to player air and ground units.

    Enemy units spawn Infested Terran upon death in numbers according to the unit's life.

    NOOB: why can’t play Starcraft on a laptop??

    I used to play it in high school on my pc, but I attempted to play on a laptop and it didn't want to load, can't remember the details as to why since this was a while back.

    Do I need a new computer or is it possible to play Starcraft on a regular hp?? I know this post is kinda vague. All I remember is that on a pc it worked fine and this was in the 90s.
