I excluded premier casters but i kept the B stream like Grant,Creightolson,Light_vip etc. Ofc there are some that i excluded like people that are no longer active so I went for casted something in the last months. Aswell theses are the ones that are active on Twitch so I did not included people on YT or other platforms. I hope that you will show them some love. | What do you do against widow mine + tank + hellbat? Posted: 10 Nov 2020 11:28 PM PST Edit: I forgot to say I'm zerg. The terran stays on two bases and contains. They siege up outside your natural and burrow the widow mines in front . That way nothing can kill the mines without being hit by the tanks. I've faced this a few times now, but nothing seems to work. I've tried ling, bane, queen, but it doesn't work. The banelings are useless while they are slow, and I cant get baneling speed that early in the game. I've tried going roach ravager, so that i can shoot the mines without vision, but the roach ravager dies too quickly by the tanks or the widow mines. Because they are not clumped up together. Before i can bile all the tanks, the ravagers have died. Lings are useless. Even if I could micro them against that many widow mines, the hellbats will kill them before they do anything. Same with hydras. Mutalisks are way too hard to micro against that many widow mines. They are easily shot down by the widow mines. i feel like something like this is countered by brood lords or ultras, but i dont have the time to do hive tech against his mid tier composition. Is there anything else that counters it? I am only platinum 2, so I wanted to know if there is something you can do at my level. I can stay fairly even in workers and army supply for most of the game, sometimes ahead. But once I mine out, there's nothing more I can do. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 10 Nov 2020 07:05 PM PST I don't really know if this is the sub for this, but I've been trying so hard to find the VOD for an old game and I'm wondering if anyone in here remembers it. It was a VERY long PvZ which basically ended in a base trade where a single zealot had to kill a spawning pool and spire simultaneously to avoid being killed by the broodlings. The Zerg player ends up winning anyways, since they had one drone in the corner of the map build an extractor just before the other buildings die. It was such a ridiculous moment and the casters were freaking out watching the players figure out the different win conditions they had. Based only on my memory the map was either Shattered Temple or Tal'Darim Altar. And I believe it was Day9 casting it but I'm less sure of that. Any help in this is much appreciated! | Posted: 10 Nov 2020 06:50 PM PST So I recently found there was something called starcraft cartooned which is a visual upgrade for starcraft 1 and before I impulse buy it, I wanted to ask, is starcraft played anymore? Whenever I pick up a multiplayer game I ask this question because I don't want to join a game that is dying or dead as I like to know the game is going to be alive and well for the forseeable future so I don't waste my time on it. New ghettysburg, frozen temple,etc. There were lots of counter play to flank and surround. Even the natural often had rocks you can kill to force turtled players to defense more area. Now we have awful small maps like submarine and maps where its almost impossible to attack anyone on 3 bases. Maps where u can siege up half the map. It feels stifling to move around tiny chokes.
