    Understandably this game can tilt people the wrong way but no matter what happens everyone's trying to have fun and no one deserves to get abused post game.

    How to get into brood war

    So i used to play sc2, high diamond low masters ish at my peak. But goddamn I can not play brood war without getting stomped brutally hard. Feels like every opponent I play has double my apm and many more times my game knowledge. Are there just not enough players to be able to play against similarly skilled folks when you're a noob? Or am I just missing something? I love the game but man it gets frustrating when you're met with loss after hopeful loss.

    Finally beat the original SC campaign legit!

    I just beat the original Overmind campaign without cheats for the first time ever! I wanted to celebrate, and this is the best way I know how. Must have done the last mission 12 times.

    I thought this was an underrated statement from Tasteless.

    It means that you should learn how to play defensive and macro first, then you can learn tricky and cheesy plays.

    For many on the ladder, they skip the defensive and macro play and just cheeses all the time or does all-ins after all-ins. And this style gets them pretty far, maybe as far as Master's league but then they get completely stuck and frustrated. Games are always boom or bust. You still have a limited understanding on the game. You might be a Master 1 but your understanding of the game might still be a Diamond.

    I've been both types of players, and I must say that it's more satisfying to play the macro, defensive style because you understand timings, have good map vision, good unit composition, and good unit placement. My MMR was definitely higher when I played this style. It's a harder style than just cheese and all-ins but I think it's worth it to get a Bachelor's in Stats.

    I require a high resolution image for tshirt

    A few yrs ago back in 2009 or so teespring had a cool hoodie and tshirt with the phrase "we require more vespene gas" it was purpleish. I can't find the image anymore for custom print and they stopped making the merch. Does anyone still have it?

    Background audio in individual Group C Matches?

    On AfreecaTV if you watch the vids where each series is broken out, there is very loud korean TV playing over about 80% of the match. These are the links that sc2links has linked for the spoiler-free viewing. Truly, how is this possible?

    I understand someone must have had to go through the streaming vod to edit the individual series, but why would there be a microphone in that room? Were they playing TV through the same computer they were editing on, and if so why would that be recorded in the video?

    I'm just truly amazed that a) this happened, and b) no one caught it before posting it. Really embarassing, it makes the games more or less unwatchable.

    Edit as pointed out below the full vod is the way to go
