I know it probably doesn't mean much to most of you, but I'm so happy I did it! Posted: 13 Apr 2020 08:43 AM PDT I just got promoted into a new league, which means I am higher placed on the ladder than I was before I got promoted. At some point I was not good enough at the game to be a part of the league that I am now a part of, but I practiced and improved at the game, and now I finally am. The ladder has a population that is distributed among different leagues. You need to win games and increase your MMR to move up within the ladder and therefore the higher you are placed on the ladder, the better you are at the game. Being rewarded with this promotion actually means that I am performing better within the ladder system than I was before I got promoted. I know that I am just a random member of the ladder population and that given the number of people playing on the ladder, a lot of people must be getting promoted every day. Still, I just wanted to let you know that at this particular day I am one of them. Also sorry guys, I was going to send a photo of the promotion screen, but I could not figure out how to send the low resolution image from my phone to reddit. How do you all handle camera locations? Posted: 13 Apr 2020 11:09 AM PDT So I getting back into the game and I think I have a really good understanding of what I need to do. I know builds and have my preferred strats but want to focus on: Build timings Better control groups Using camera locations I have gotten to Diamond 1 previously with these being only so-so, but want to work on them. The first 2 I can just grind and practice against AI to build some habits, but for camera locations I am struggling. My hand going to the function keys is very in accurate, I have to move my arm and not just my hand/fingers and getting back to a position to hit hotkeys and WASD is something I have to look down to do.
