| Posted: 13 Feb 2020 08:21 PM PST One thing I struggle with is scouting. I am always worrying about building and doing other shit. I like Zerg so I main them. However my last match for the night I am going against Toss and I decide to send my overlord and see what's in the base and I usually do that but this time I paid attention. I see a stargate and immediately go into thinking build hydra's and two evo chambers and upgrade armor and attack along with hydra range. I also make sure to have atleast 3 air spores in case he decided to harass. I am silver 3 and he was a bronze 1 (only figured it out post match) so he was incredibly passive and did just wait to build his army which was to my advantage. I had spread enough creep on the map to see that he had void rays and carriers and decided to just send the hydra's there with lvl 2 armor and attack and I totally wrecked him. GG's were had and I was pumped. For once I won not because I had stronger army. But because I had a plan due to scouting and understanding what the opponent was building. I am just here to say that don't be scared to do the hard thing if it takes your eyes off for a couple seconds. Always was scared to scout and didn't know how to react. But I am getting better and I am understanding more and more. It is such a fucking cool feeling seeing yourself improve in this game. This game is super easy to learn but so hard to master and seeing the results is incredibly gratifying. Thanks for reading my story guys. GGWP [link] [comments] | ||
