    Overview

With the support of our new sponsor, Vite Ramen, we're thrilled to bring a new event for the StarCraft 2 community, the Infinity Gaming Cool Clip Contest!

    What is it?

The Infinity Gaming Cool Clip Contest is a way to win some cash or awesome prizes by completing in-game challenges, while streaming on Twitch.tv!

    When is it?

This event will take place every other week (starting next Friday [31st of January]), from Friday to the following Monday, and be open to ANYONE who streams StarCraft 2 on Twitch.tv!

    How do I participate?

Each iteration we will select a challenge that must be completed during a 1v1 match in StarCraft 2, while streaming. After completing that week's challenge, you or your viewers get the best clip of it being completed and tweet it to @IxGPro with the hashtag #IxGCCC. Also, you must be following @IxGPro and @ViteRamen on Twitter to be eligible.

    What can I win?

Vite Ramen has provided $100 USD to award to the first place winner! They have also hooked us up with loads of ramen and accessories for 2nd and 3rd place, for you to fuel yourself with and be ready for the next #IxGCCC!

Stay tuned for the announcement of the first challenge next week by following us on Twitter @IxGPro and don't forget to check out our sponsor @ViteRamen !

    Until then, GL & HF!

You've had a shit day, losing to proxies, rushes, and just horrible play by yourself. What do you to get yourself out of the rut?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 02:17 PM PST

4 days ago I had an amazing day, was winning games I had no business winning, playing well. Reading and reacting. The last three days I've been shit losing games I should win, reading something completely different. So what methods do you use to get back on track?

Low popularity of micro tournament-like maps in SC2 nowadays

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 07:29 AM PST

In the past when I used to play SC2 more (like 7 years ago) there was always plenty lobbies with micro tournament maps, where you could try to improve your skills. Now I don't see any open lobbies, why is that so? These were fun, I am not sure what is the reason. Simply decline of popularity of SC2?

For almost two weeks, I haven't been able to play BW on bnet--I drop from every game. Help!

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 11:53 AM PST

I can host games, but without fail I drop after 0-75 seconds (usually in the first few seconds). It's the same if I join someone else's game. People are dropping from my lobbies pretty frequently, too. My internet is otherwise fine--I can stream HD video just fine, my connection is stable, low ping, I still get ~20 Mbps up and down, and little to no packet loss. Two weeks ago bnet worked fine.

If it matters, I'm running SC:R in Windows 10 Pro on a Dell XPS 15 laptop; 2.5 GHz Intel i5-7300HQ; 8 GB RAM; GeForce GTX 1050.

The fact that this happens when I join someone else's game indicates it's not a port forwarding/UPnP issue. I thought it might be that something updated and broke something, and if that were the case, it would probably have happened to someone else. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

EDIT: Just tried reinstalling sc and there's no change :(
