    Blizzard will take down their API in early January for some legal reason. Then a month later they will "investigate" if they can bring it back.

    The 6 round tournaments take WAY too long. No reason there should be a 25 minutes wait when all 8 players have completed their matches

    Holiday Campaign Stream by MNBarcraft

    This is HyperTurtle representing MNBarcraft here in the winter wonderland that is Minnesota. I was recently gifted extra copies of Starcraft Remastered and the Starcraft II Campaign Collection. I'd like to celebrate all the holidays with my favorite community by sharing the experience of diving in with a new BattleNet account!

    Over the course of winter break I'm going to be streaming myself playing through the Starcraft single-player campaigns starting tomorrow with the original Terran campaign Rebel Yell in Remastered. The fun begins at Noon CST Saturday and I'll play for a few hours(time will vary based on what my family is up to). I will do this every day of vacation from December 21st to January 1st. Not sure how far through the story I'll get by then but I do plan to continue on weekends afterwards until I'm done with Legacy of the Void.

    I'm by no means a master of Brood War or Starcraft II but I'm certainly passionate about them! I'm hoping that I can get a good number of people to chat with while I play. I'd love to look back at the nearly 22-year history of the franchise and take advice on the strategies and choices of each mission together!

    Seems people kinda stopped uploading alphastar videos about a month ago. Last I saw it's Terran was kinda wonky, would be interested in more recent casts if anyone knows any.

    Players who are very good at both Warcraft 3 AND Starcraft/2, at which of the two are YOU better? Which do you consider the better GAME? Why?

    As a person whose first entry into the RTS genre as a kid was StarCraft, as much as I enjoyed it and tried to get good at it, once Warcraft 3 came out, I never looked back.

    When SC2 came out years later, it did engage my attention and interest briefly, and I daresay I became sufficiently good at it, but, looking back now, this seems to be simply because wc3 had exhausted itself competitively at that point in time. Once SC2 had exhausted itself competitively too sometime in the middle between HotS and LotV, I started pining for wc3 again and have never looked back, nor WILL look back at sc2.

    so, a question to experienced players who acquired sufficient skills in both SC/2 and WC3 --- Title.

    p.s. obviously, this isn't meant to be a "competition" type of thread, just an invitation for a discussion where you can share your opinions.

    Gifting legacy of the void?

    I've been wanting to gift one of my family members Legacy of the Void for Christmas, but you can't actually purchase just legacy of the void in the shop. I'm fairly certain that he already has the other two campaigns, and I do know that when you buy yourself the Starcraft 2 pack that it will discount you if you already have one or two campaigns.

    However, if you are gifting someone else the pack, does it discount you for any campaigns that they have? If not then I'll just find a blizzard gift card.
