Born Gosu clan is recruiting players of all skill levels!

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 11:50 AM PST

Born Gosu is a passionate community of nerds united by the greatest game series on earth, StarCraft!

Born Gosu is proud to have a storied history of championships in the SC2 scene and currently participates in many different team leagues such as Chobo Teamleague(CTL), Alpha Teamleague, and other casual friendly clan wars. There are opportunities for players of all skill levels to get involved in the amateur SC2 community. Most leagues we compete in have divisions slots from Gold league up through Masters 1. We especially need platinum players (our members improve too quickly upon joining).

In addition to competition, Born Gosu is a fun loving group of diverse individuals from all over the world who are awesome enough to help each other in clan activities, voice chats, and fun castings of various in-house showmatches.

We're looking for players of all ranks, who are looking to improve, make friends, discuss the world around SC2 and the community at large, watch some GSL together, and most simply play some StarCraft. Though time to time we do deviate by trying-out other games with each other too.

If you have any questions feel free to ask or message me on discord Spoon#1655, or here on a reddit DM.

Sign up, come discuss the game, and find some practice partners at our discord link below! Anyone can use the !app command in discord to apply as well.

Episode 1 of The StarCraft Observer Podcast

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 07:13 AM PST

    Hi Everyone!

It's been a minute since I last posted. I just wanted to share you with you a new podcast that I'm creating. It's primarily focused on the StarCraft community.

    https://www.buzzsprout.com/1512304/6557308

I'm hoping to get in touch with a lot more artists, players, and creators to bring you their stories and create something that takes the listener on a journey. This thing has been in the works for some time now and I'm finally excited to share it with you all.

    Thanks for being patient!

Which is the most rage inducing out of the three? (Widow mines, banelings, disruptors)

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 11:45 PM PST

For me if I had to rank them I'd say 1) Banes 2) Ruptors 3) Mines

The baneling is definitely the most rage inducing, followed by the disruptor and then the widow mine. Actually I'm tied between the ruptor and the mine because there are moments when the mine can absolutely devastate an entire economy so it'll take number two spot occasionally but man, banes. Hate em. (Hate em a little less after receiving two consecutive nerfs, hallelujah!)

Tips for a beginner? (Starcraft 2)

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 11:38 PM PST

I've played a bit of Broodwar off and on (I love the game but I'm not particularly good at it), but I'm brand new to SC2. I figured since it was "free" I would give it a try. I'm currently F2P so I only have access to Kerrigan, Raynor, and Artanis. I was wondering if there were any quick tips/advice you could give me before I take the plunge? Are there any YouTubers or streamers I should check out? Etc. Anything that could help would be greatly appreciated!
