| Posted: 17 Jun 2020 08:18 AM PDT I started starcraft a month ago. I switch from the dota community. I currently silver and working on my games. I just really like to appreciate the community. Whenever I lose, some players appreciate me for doing something good. Some give me tips. When I win, some say good job. Some even add me because they like playing with me. I am from Asia but i now have friends from austria, america, australia. Even some other parts of asia. I have a friend who is 8 years younger than me from another country. We would meet up on discord and play 2v2. I try to pass on the postivity too. I even had one say that he was suicidal. We ended up chatting during the game. We just stopped fighting and began talking about our lives. Comming from the dota community, I never really expected this. Thank you SC 2. | Posted: 17 Jun 2020 10:27 PM PDT Are we supposed to report smurfs? Me and a friend were playing 2 vs 2 tonight, and we matched up against 2 guys who were clearly out of our league. We are in gold and they were easily in plat or diamond. When my team mate quit, both of them quit giving us the victory. Looking through their match history they have around triple the apm of those they face and almost always "lose" with higher army supply than opponents. They are clearly abusing the mmr system to get easier matches by "losing" games they win. Should I report them and if so what for? This is a major issue low on the latter and makes Starcraft far less friendly to new players. [link] [comments] | ||

The game works fine, exept that when I try to start the terran campaigns I get "unable to load map" and the game steps out of the mod. Also, the cinematics for the mission briefs don't work, instead, is a medium res picture. Can anyone help, or make a suggestion for this problem? [link] [comments] | ||

It's more fun when I'm not fumbling over the controls and letting my minerals pile up. | Trying to remember a custom online game type. Posted: 18 Jun 2020 01:33 AM PDT Hello everyone. I played StarCraft many many years ago when I was ~10. I specifically remember playing some sort of custom game that essentially involved rhythm and was often/always accompanied with music. In this mode you would be a zergling, and the objective was to get past these obstacles/puzzles/layouts that required timing and reactions. Can anyone help me remember what they were called? I specifically remember one that played to the tune of "Another one bites the dust." Just hoping for a trip down memory lane. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
