    This Sunday 12/18 @6pm KST the first Solar Supreme Starleague Pro/Am tournament will go live! Featuring Team Trap, Team Creator, Team ByuN, and Team DRG

    Hey everyone, this weekend there's gonna be a really cool unique tournament happening hosted by Solar!

    The Solar Supreme League (SSL)!

    It will begin at 6pm KST on December 20th and be streamed on Wardi's twitch stream!

    This tournament will be a round robin group with 4 teams composed of one pro player and one amateur. Each team will play every other team, with the team getting the most wins earning first place.

    Participating teams:

    Pro Player Amateur
    1. Creator ddochi
    2. Trap Gemini
    3. ByuN Jinioh
    4. DRG DRGLing

    The Prize pool is 2million won (~$2000 USD) provided by the amazing AsFarAsItGoes!

    Place Prize
    First 1million won (~1000 USD)
    Second 500k won (~500 USD)
    Third 300k won (~300 USD)
    Fourth 200k won (~200 USD)

    The format of the tournament will be:

    • Game 1 - Pro vs Pro

    • Game 2 - Amateur vs Amateur

    • Game 3 - Archon mode

    If at the end of every match there are ties, they will be decided with another Bo1 Archon mode.

    The matches will be casted by Solar and Wardi on Wardi's twitch stream! The order of matches are as follows:

    Match Teams
    Match 1 Team Trap vs Team Creator
    Match 2 Team Trap vs Team DRG
    Match 3 Team DRG vs Team Creator
    Match 4 Team ByuN vs Team Trap
    Match 5 Team ByuN vs Team DRG
    Match 6 Team ByuN vs Team Creator

    Reminder: TeamLiquid StarLeague 6 to continue tomorrow, Saturday the 19th!

    Just a friendly reminder that TSL 6 will begin its concluding weekend tomorrow, starting from 16:00 UTC. Tomorrow's broadcast will consist of Loser's Rounds 2 and 3 as well as the Winner's Semifinals and will be co-casted by Day[9]. The rest of the tournament will be played out on Sunday.

    The match thread can be found here. It now has a countdown to the start of tomorrow's broadcast as well as scoreboards for the games. I'll also sticky it a couple of hours beforehand.

    For a better idea of the stakes for each player involved, I recommend checking out this post by /u/hjalpha, detailing the current EPT standings and the changes we could still see to those partially based on this tournament as well.

    Question about supporting competitive Starcraft

    Not sure if there is a better place to post this, but I'm looking to build a pc and not sure if there is a way to purchase parts specifically from vendors supporting Starcraft. I know intel is the big one with iem and definitely getting an Intel CPU for that reason but not sure about the rest and how best to let the sponsors know that their support of competitive sc2 made a difference?
