Co-Op Mutation #239: Bad Weather
A few years ago I shot test footage for a Starcraft short film. Centered around the initial Zerg infestation of Mar Sara, my goal was to combine visual elements from SC2 with the dark, gritty, Battle Aboard the Amerigo vibe that defined SC1. Anyways, here’s 12 seconds of said footage.

Void Rifts
Void Rifts periodically appear in random locations and spawn enemy units until destroyed.
Twister
Tornadoes move across the map, damaging and knocking back player units in their path.

Notes:

This is the second rerun of Bad Weather.
Each Void Rift has 500HP, and their spawnings are signalled by a minimap ping on each Rift.
[Rift spawn locations] in the first 8 minutes
[How to see Void Rifts on the minimap]
Time stop delays by 20 seconds the spawn time of Void Rifts.
Units that spawn from Void Rifts neither not drop biomass for Abathur, nor essence for Dehaka.
Twisters can go into the expansion area, but not its mineral line.
Twisters can throw around hero and massive units, but not buildings.

Starcraft Remastered Map Editor?

It's been many years since I've played StarCraft, and it appears that StarCraft Remastered doesn't come with a default map editor. Further research revealed that it was a feature that was removed, and that people are now using third-party editors. However, I'm not sure which editor I should use and whether it matters.

Hey, so this will be a quiet week on the Premier tournament front, but at least there will be some action which I reckoned you guys would probably want to be aware of:

A) ASUS ROG qualifiers

Will be played throughout this weekend, so Friday the 20th through Sunday the 22nd.

These will be streamed on the ASUS ROG Official Twitch as well as possibly some community streams (I'll try and keep an eye out on those and any streamers doing casts are of course free to out themselves here ;) )

B) GSL Super Tournament qualifiers

These will be happening on the 22nd, so Sunday. As far as I know, these are not broadcasted though.

Hey all, are there any GM protoss players offering coaching at a relatively cheap price? I'm a masters 2 -1 protoss looking for some help, but I also don't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money. Just wondering if I can find someone good to help me out :D
