In this version, you play as Kerrigan and her zerg. It features Kerrigan abilities, unit mutations and evolutions, multiple difficulties, and dialogues and music from the Heart of the Swarm campaign. | Posted: 15 Nov 2020 12:50 AM PST This sounds really dumb, but when I think of really good games I often feel like a company had an idea, they went for it and then the good games are the ones where the idea/design was good. I can't imagine there was as much forum posts back in the late 90s for SC1 as there is now for SC2. Blizzard just kind of made SC1 and lots of people loved it. Nowadays for SC2 there will be a patch and then everyone complains about something and then the game balance team looks at all the complaints and changes a few things. It's like they are sucking up to the player base or something instead of just being confident that they know what they're doing. Games like original Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Goldeneye 007, etc, etc. Lots of games that were more-so pre-internet had game developers just do their best to make a great and sure many weren't as successful, but others were incredible. | PSA: Don't browse a starcraft forum while trying to avoid spoilers related to starcraft Posted: 14 Nov 2020 09:01 AM PST I posted earlier with a title that contained a spoiler in the form of a pun. A few people were upset that I spoiled the event for them and even called me an idiot. This motivated me to state the obvious, why would you browse a starcraft forum the day of a starcraft event and then get upset if something is spoiled for you? Isn't this a forum where we discuss starcraft? Just some advice for those who have had that match spoiled for them. You can't control others, but you can control yourself. Would you also be upset if you decided to store your cash on the sidewalk and someone stole it? You should take some steps to avoid that by lets say... Putting it somewhere safe. Alright enough venting Edit: To clarify since some seem to think I am promoting spoilers in titles. I will obviously refrain from having spoilers in the title of future posts. Going forward I will simply put what I planned as the title in the description. The point is people who are angry when they get a starcraft event spoiled in a starcraft forum are being silly since accidents do happen and there will be other new visitors of this subreddit who may do the same.
