Posted: 28 Apr 2020 01:09 AM PDT What would you recommend for a player who wants to improve but can only play 30min Monday through Friday and a couple of hours on weekends? I'm a meching Terran if that matters. My own idea is one custom game of build drilling, one or two ladder games and replay analysis for the weeks days. Same for the weekend but more games. I would probably focus on learning just one build for one match up at a time until I have one vs each race. I might just cheese the match ups where I don't have a build to not waste time on those games. Thoughts and ideas? [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Apr 2020 08:53 PM PDT Hi all, This is my first season with Protoss and I've been trying to learn some build orders as a way to have a good plan for each matchup, and to get better, but I am struggling a bit. I heard on one of Harstem's videos that 5 games against the AI are as valuable as 30 games in ladder when it comes to learning a BO, so I'm trying to do that, but I end up making more mistakes than on an actual ladder game. So far I have been learning openers and then loosely following Vibe's b2gm, which has gotten me to Plat, but I'd like to start learning some strategies that are not just maxing out on CIA every game (just because I'm getting a bit bored of just doing that). I have been playing the game for a while (played Z and T before and got to Plat with both) but this is the first time I am trying to learn proper build orders (macro ones, or mid-game timing attacks). Any tips to learn BOs in an efficient way? Something that might have worked for you in the past? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Gaming monitor for Starcraft 2 Posted: 28 Apr 2020 01:14 AM PDT I'm looking to buy a new monitor for my pc. Ideally, I would like a monitor that is 240hz, and about 32 inches so I don't feel like I'm downgrading from the size my tv is now. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
