Lore-wise, where are the battlecruisers and science vessels constructed? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 02:09 AM PST In the game, we all know too well that they are assembled in starports. However, if the battlecruisers (and science vessels) truly fly out of these buildings, they have to be very very larger than those ships, like 4-5 times larger, making them the biggest buildings ever built by the Terrans. You would need a huge house with lots of room to build these big boys. I think starports are not suitable for building anything. Instead, they are more likely to be serving as hangars for aircrafts and ships not larger than Valkyries, Liberators and Hercules transports. Because of that, I think air units are assembled in ground-based and orbital factories. Smaller units like Banshee, Wraight, Dropship etc, are made in ground-based factories, while huge ones like battlecruisers and science vessels are exclusively constructed in orbital shipyards. Science vessels could also be built in free-floating orbit, not requiring any shipyards. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2020 12:05 PM PST Heart of the Swarm gets a lot of shit for its writing, but there was one moment that really stuck out to me. During the cutscene after the mission with Narud and the temples, Kerrigan fights Narud. Being a shapeshifter as well as having a bit of a manipulative streak, he transforms into 'ghost kerrigan', and mockingly states to the now primal Kerrigan that "I am everything you lost". What does Primal Kerrigan do in response to this? Hugs her 'past self', and then crushes the image of what she used to be with her wings. I think it's really deep and metallic, because Kerrigan is both accepting who she used to be and who she is now, but denies her humanity once and for all by annihilating the image of her past self. Yeah it was just Narud in a halloween costume, but the fashion in which she ended the fight was like her coming to terms with who she had become. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2020 07:14 PM PST I would take brood war's economy, static defense, and unit durability. I would take SC2's UI, unit pathing and grouping, and (for the most part) the unit set. [link] [comments]

How much money can coaching make? Posted: 01 Dec 2020 02:22 PM PST I'm masters 3 with terran but I can coach zerg and protoss aswell. I need to make 2000 euro by the time summer rolls around, so I need all the money I can get right now. I'm a teenager so just getting a job isn't going to work because min wage here is 200 euro a month so I'm happy if I can find atleast that. [link] [comments] |
