What are some small mechanics that once learned, can make you play fast? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 12:23 AM PST For example, shift+left clicking a unit from the command card out of a control group helps with scouting, and quickly putting units back on economy. If it is obvious for you, it may not be obvious for everyone [link] [comments]
Lower leagues is just a whole lot of smurfs - can we report them? Does Blizzard care? Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:09 PM PST I'm a fairly new player, but I recently got up to platinum with zerg, so I can at least tell when somebody is good at this game. I thought I'd try out the other races, which I haven't even learned any build orders for, so I'm back in silver - and it's sooo many smurfs. I can tell because they are pulling off streamer-worthy micro while building three bases in the background. Also they do troll builds - again with genuinely impressive micro. I have a friend who expressed interest in the game recently - I honestly don't feel good recommending it to him, cause he's starting as a total beginner - and who wants to get shit on by these people? Why discourage new players? [link] [comments]

Similarity of Artanis Speeches In Wol and Lotv Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:55 PM PST Couldn't find anything on this online, but was surprised to see such similarity between the two speeches Artanis makes in Wol and Lotv. Seemed like a cool callback. (Apologies for the low quality; im pretty new to this kind of thing) [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Nov 2020 05:00 PM PST I've seen some pro players unload marines from medivacs while both the medivac and the marines are moving. The best way I could figure out how to do this is
Is this about right? Is it worth learning to do? Since I unbound the all army hotkey I have also been making my medivacs follow my marines. To maintain this with this maneuver, seems like I would need to tell the medivacs to follow one of the first marines that is dropped, after it has been told to move, before continuing to select and move the marines as they drop. This seems really complex. Should I just stop caring about the follow command, and move/position my medivacs manually? [link] [comments]
