    I'm a noob player, bronze league, that started getting into the game with a friend and we usually play together everyday. For the past 6 days we have had every flavor of chesse game after game, we have started scouting right at the begging, after first supply depot and with reaper after first barracks, but it all avails to nothing, since there's like 40 different kinds of chesse and we have no idea to know what it's gonna be just from looking at 3-4 buildings every 40-60 seconds....

    Anyhow, we don't plan on giving up, I was wondering if anyone has a 2v2 scouting guide in hand? How do I know what I'm expected to actually scout and how to respond to such a thing? I've found videos of 1v1 (mostly very outdated, but they work somehow), but in 2v2 I feel there's more chesse variants. Sorry if the post was ranty, loosing 36 games in a row to chesse does that to a person

    I've been hoping and waiting on an eventual co-op commander pack, and it appears it's here and on sale, 24% off. Looks like the sale goes through December 1st.

    I'm placed in Bronze 3 but it keeps putting me up against gold and plat' players. What is with that? Shouldn't it put me against other bonze players? Seems a bit backwards to me.

    What does "NoRegret" do?

    I've seen his name around, but clearly he's not a GSL player. And whenever I see him on a video it's "This is NoRegret"... And he's just complaining about something.

    So, uh, what does he actually do in the scene? I read that he manages a team house. But how does one become qualified to do that and where does the income come from

    The week of Black Friday is when the Starcraft games are cheapest. The Starcraft II campaigns as well as Starcraft Remastered and Cartooned are discounted lower than they are with any other sale during the year. No sales for commanders or announcers right now.

    For those considering starting Starcraft here is a rundown of what is free and what is on sale.

    For the original Starcraft all the campaigns are free including the Brood War ones. It is free to play custom games online.

    For Starcraft II the Wings of Liberty campaign is free as are the first three missions of Legacy of the Void. All Co-op commanders are free but they are capped at Level 5 with the exception of Artanis, Kerrigan, and Raynor who are completely free. It is free to play custom, arcade, and ladder games, however if you haven't purchased a campaign you have to win 10 Unranked or vs A.I. games on different days to unlock the ability to play Ranked.

    Starcraft Remastered is on sale which gives you need widescreen 4K graphics and the ability to play Ranked Brood War games. Purchasing it also unlocks Stukov as a commander in SC2.

    Starcraft Cartooned is also on sale which gives alternate graphics for every asset in the game themed after the Carbot cartoons.(Requires that you own Remastered or buy them bundled together.)

    The Starcraft II campaigns are also on sale. The complete campaign bundle includes all SC2 campaigns and also gives you full access to the Co-op commanders Swann, Zagara, Vorazun, and Karax as well as a special Ghost skin. The Deluxe bundle gives you skins for the Colossus, Thor, Adept, and Ultralisk and unlocks several other cosmetics for SC2 and other Blizzard games.

    Both games have announcers available for purchase and SC2 also has skins for units and consoles and premium arcade games.
