    Armani

    Posted: 19 Oct 2020 06:56 PM PDT

Simple title to avoid any spoilers.

I didn't see anyone post this yet but I was really happy to see him advance to the round of 4 even though Zest is one of my favorite players. Armani has been competing since 2013 but never won anything major. When I checked his Liquipedia page and added up his lifetime earnings, it's only $7,855. To play a game for 7 years and only earn so little and still hasn't given up is pretty damn persistent.

It's a good feeling to see someone finally get rewarded. I hope he makes it to the Finals and maybe even win it.

Dreaming big, starting small - transitioning from consumer to creator

    Posted: 19 Oct 2020 09:57 PM PDT

Over the last couple of weeks I've finally been making the transition from consumer of SC2 media to creator. I've dabbled in streaming SC2 from the very start in 2010/2011 using Adobe FMLE on sites like ustream and livestream.com, later on Justin.tv with the beta of xsplit. Still, back then I'd always put my studies first.
Now, in part because of covid, I've finally put more effort into creating media and it is hella fun! Since I have the rest of the year "off" (don't want to bore y'all with details), I really want to provide for a small community and share in the cheerful and janky glory that is the Diamond 1 Protoss life.
As a long term r/sc and r/atp enthusiast, I'd like to make this post in order to urge you to give me a chance and check out my stuffs, and perhaps, if you like the kind of jank I'm producing at this time, you might even deem me worthy of a twitch follow or a youtube subscription! What do I bring to deserve your attention? A cheery attitude, a willingness to experiment, an awful German accent I'm trying to get rid of and 1080p@60fps crispyness!
Growing a following from scratch is hard work, but I'm willing to put all my creativity and vigor into it for the next few months and see where the journey leads. Want to be a part of it? You can find me on Twitch as well as YouTube.

Also, in about a month, I'm going to be ready for a bigger announcement of a project I've dreamt up a long time ago and on which I've been working since march this year 😊

glhf to all of you and let's meet on ladder!

    Dreamhack Winter Groups Announced

Brood War largely remained balances through shifting map pools and allowing maps to dictate the meta. Can this really happen in LotV?

    Posted: 19 Oct 2020 04:12 PM PDT

I'm just having a hard time seeing how much map design can play a role in the meta in the same way it did in BW. Would love to have my mind changed.

    STARCRAFT Mini thoery !

    Posted: 19 Oct 2020 11:41 PM PDT

In the Multiplayer vs mode your actually playing as a colony of your Race's empire and when two or more colonies of same or opposing factions meet they figth each other out for control of the planet and this is where you play , this explains why you have to start from scratch and train / grow soldiers cuase your not fighting a war with the resources of an entire Empire your using what ever scraps you can find on the planet .
